COMEBACK HOME

We woke up early IN THE MORNING πŸ˜ͺbecause we had to checked out around 9am to follow our itinerary, so we already packed our stuff. We continued our journey to the next destination which are National Visual Arts Gallery, Masjid Negara and Jalan TAR but before that, we took our breakfast first at local restaurant nearby.

NATIONAL VISUAL ARTS GALLERY

We arrived at National Visual Arts Gallery around  12pm. National Visual Arts Gallery is the official art venue for workshops and exhibitions in Malaysia. The gallery exhibits both local and foreign art works as well as photography. Additional information, they also organise art classes for children.

Wait wait! where is Parit Buntar??

The best background to selfie.

The art of the landscape.

I don't know what is this, but it is pretty cool!

So DEEP!!

This is what we call an ART!

Anyone want to try some new clothes?

How?

The face what does not have the body.. wuuu~

Look! How pretty I draw this drawing. Hehehe..

NATIONAL MOSQUE OF MALAYSIA

National Mosque of Malaysia is one of the place that we have visited last trip. We went there for Zuhur and we were not missed the chance to take the photograph of National Mosque scenery and besides that, we looked around the mosque and feel praised to Allah for what He was giving to us. All of the building structure have been constructed with the best plan of the architecture. And me, nearly lost the way back to our bus. It is because the mosque was so many exit. HAHAHA!!

Just one word to describe this picture. WOW!

Anyone love to swimming?

Who's photo is this?? NICE ONE!!

JALAN TAR

During our sightseeing at Jalan Tar, we we to SOGO Shopping Complex. There, we bought many foods, clothes and perfume because there was many sales offer. We are so "RAMBANG MATA" that we cannot resist ourself. It was so funny because Danial, who likes men's perfume very much, stands infront of the shop but he cannot buy the perfume because he does not have enough money to buy it. HAHAHAHA!!! Pity him. But, we are so happy because many things that we have bought there. We hope that we can come here again and again. Yeah...

It was raining like cat wrestling with the dog.

Hello?? What are you looking uncle?

Best buy for people.

LET'S GO HOME! YEAAH!!

A lot of activities and of course, sweet memories we have done together and finally it's time to head back to our home. We wish that all the moment we have been through together at Taman Negara and Kuala Lumpur will take a place in our heartπŸ’– and be the most unforgettable memory for us.. KUALA GANDAH ELEPHANT CONSERVATION CENTRE

πŸ˜πŸ˜πŸ˜ We arrived at Kuala Gandah Elephant Conservation Centre which located in Temerloh, Pahang at 3 p.m. We were very excited to see real elephants in front of us. Most of us says it was the first time to see these animals in person. IT WAS SOOOOOOOO CUTEEEEEE😍😍.

After we met the elephants, we continued our journey to Kuala Lumpur.πŸšŒπŸ’¨

TUNE HOTEL

We reach our second place to stay which is  Tune Hotel, around 6pm. We checked in and take a break for the rest of the night. We doesnt have any activity in our itinerary so we find interesting things to do such as DARK TOURISM GUIDED BY OUR VERY OWN FRIEND , DZULπŸ‘»πŸ‘»HAHA. Some of us went to bed early before continuing our activities for the next day.πŸ’€

THE LONGEST CANOPY WALKWAY IN ASIA

Canopy Walkway
After the ticket inspection, you still need to walk 550 metres on a gravel trail to go to the starting point of the Canopy Walkway. The walk to starting point will take about 30 minutes. Just relax and go slow. It will help if you wear comfortable hiking shoes and bring mineral water. You better bring your umbrella just in case it rains. The canopy walkway is narrow and only can take 6 people load at a time.

The Canopy Walkway is a suspension bridge constructed with ropes, steel cables and a series of aluminium ladders bolted together. Laced with polyester ropes, the open rungs of ladders are covered with walking plank. Netting enclosed both sides for additional security. The bridge is connected between 3 super-big-trees of Borneo rainforest such as Menggaris (species: Kompassia excelsa) and Seraya (species: Shroea sp.). This is the the first tree-top platform. The walkway is an elastic structure, so it will bounce and swing when we talk on it. Some find this thrilling while some think it is the scariest thing in this world.

My heart skipped a beat when I looked down. This is what it looks like when you are over 40 metres of the ground. That's why people with height phobia, hypertension or heart problem are advised to not to try this, though it's a safe activity. It's the worst nightmare for height phobia.

After we experiencing the canopy walkway activity, we return to our motel and packed for our next destination which was trip to Kuala Gandah Elephant Conservation Centre and Kuala Lumpur. Around 1 p.m in the evening we depart leaving the National Park.

CRYSTYLE OF TAMAN NEGARA PAHANG

After a long and tiring journey from Alor Setar, it took about 10 hours, and we safely arrived at Kuala Tahan, Pahang in the Friday morning.

We check-in into the motel and rest for a moment before getting ready for the first activity at 2p.m. in the evening.

By the way, this is the front view of our motel. This motel provide accommodation and restaurant. We choose the rooms on the ground floor that is easier for us to communicate.

In each of the room, they provide us with comfy 2 double-decker bed and toilet. Each and every room  was equip with a fan.

Comfy Double-Decker BedπŸ˜‹πŸ˜‹πŸ˜‹πŸ˜‹πŸ˜‹

Although the motel does not have air-conditioner, the breeze in the night is very refreshing and calm. This is because this motel located near the hill and the area full with trees. It just such a very nature environment.

Jeti Sungai Tembeling, Kuala Tahan, Pahang.

After check-in to the TRV MOTEL, we hitchhike onto a pickup to Jeti Kuala Tahan for our very first activity which was rapid shooting and visit “Perkampungan Orang Asli”.

Our classmates is waiting patiently to experience the speedboat ride along the river.

On the speed boat to meet the tribal community.

Arrived at the Perkampungan Orang Asli.

One of the children of the Orang Asli is watching us while on our arriving.

On the left side, we are getting ready to hear some briefing about the history and the daily life of Orang Asli from our tour guide, Abang Din. While, on the right picture is our lecturer, Miss Azira was imitating the Orang Asli.

The sumpit or blow pipe (malan) is a traditional weapon used by Orang Asli (ingenious) tribe for hunting and during the old days, warfare. There are numerous measurements for the blowpipe ranging from 2 feets to more than 6 feets. The longer the barrel, the longer the distance the dart will go.πŸ’¨πŸ’¨

There are many blow pipes being sold in the market as souvenir and does not well functioning, so beware on purchasing one of it. To me, anything intended for display at my home must be authentic, functional and dated or not newly made. It must have the allure or aura of history. "Teras" is used as it is the core of the tree and the strongest part.πŸ’ͺπŸ’ͺ

To combine 2 different bamboo with same accurate size, no modern tools are used but a "duri lunak rotan" (part of the rotan tree). So, you can imagine how tedious the process is. It takes roughly 3 months to make a  good sumpit such as this, from start to finish.😨😨😨

The dart or the bullet is called as "damak" and it is made by "rotan". The poison for "damak" is obtained from the sap of the Ipoh tree and I was been told that the sap can kill.πŸ’€

JUNGLE NIGHT WALK

At Taman Negara, you can also join for the night walk activity.During the activity, you might see some species of insects, snakes, plants and even animal that you did not seen before. A tour guide will guide you along the way and some tips will be given to you on how, what, and why to do in the forest.

Many experience that we got by joining this activity. I also was very-very happy to see a kancil sitting under a tree and a stick insect eating a leaf. Even it was quite scary, but what do I have learnt by joining the activity is that we must keep our forest safe and do not kill all the livings.

For sure we want to see the unique species of animals that we never seen before, so why not we take an action to safe these species of animals? WHO??!!!

LET'S START THE JOURNEY

After being planned and discuss we come up with affordable cost and a memorable t-shirt of our class trip. We were so excited on that time because this was our last trip.

Around 12 o'clock in the midnight, we been told to gather at Kolej Poly-Tech Mara Alor Setar to aboard the bus that would take us to Taman Negara Pahang and Kuala Lumpur. The bus arrived around 12:30 am and our bus began depart from Kolej Poly-Tech Mara Alor Setar as soon as our classmate recite the du'a for a safe journey around 12:45 am.

Along the journey, we couldn't see the scenery of the sight because it is so dark. So, most of us decided to sleep in the bus.
